Job Description:

BAE Systems is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for advanced defense systems. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth for BAE Systems’ cutting-edge defense products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for BAE Systems’ defense solutions.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, including government agencies, military organizations, and defense contractors, to promote and sell BAE Systems’ products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships and collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, leveraging this information to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of BAE Systems’ defense solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with BAE Systems’ policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and legal, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management and adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the defense or aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of defense technology and the defense industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and leverage market opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for defense technology and a commitment to advancing BAE Systems’ mission and objectives.
