Job Description:

Rolls-Royce is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Aeronautical Design Engineer to join our elite aerospace team in the UK. This role involves leading the design and development of advanced aeronautical components and systems, contributing to our cutting-edge aviation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of advanced aeronautical components and systems for commercial and defense aviation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, materials science, and systems engineering, to ensure successful integration and performance of designs.
• Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of aeronautical designs to ensure they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and test plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in aeronautical engineering and incorporate relevant innovations into design projects.
• Present design concepts, project updates, and technical findings to senior management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
• Extensive experience in aeronautical design and engineering, with a strong background in design, analysis, and integration.
• Proficiency in aeronautical simulation and modeling tools, such as CATIA, ANSYS, and CFD software.
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and aerospace materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
