Job Description:

Rolls-Royce is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in the UK. This role involves managing the procurement process for aerospace components and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery to support our cutting-edge aviation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for aerospace components and services, aligning with project requirements and company objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of procured materials and components.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply chain, leveraging this information to inform procurement strategies.
  • Manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports and performance metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
